The Strike Zones Fall  Instructional Baseball League is designed to provide players with an opportunity to continue their summer seasons into the fall.  The goal of fall ball is to allow players to learn another position, get more experience at their current position, and improve basic fundamentals. We offer our Fall Instructional Leagues at various locations in the Omaha area.  Teams play two games per week for eight weeks.  Games will be played once during the week and once on Saturday morning. Coaches for the Fall League include a Strike Zone field instructor and a field assistant.  These coaches are responsible for assisting players on the field with basic fundamentals and also take on the umpire duties.  Dugout coaches are volunteers assigned by the Strike Zone and their responsibilities  include distributing equal playing time and setting the batting order. (all players do bat)  We have found that the Fall Instructional League is valuable in preparing young players for our Fall Competitive League.

The Instructional League is designed for those players who want to continure to play ball in the fall in a relaxed, non-competitive atmosphere. This league is designed with the non-select player or team in mind. Players can play and learn about all different positions and get a chance to do things they might not have been able to do on their regular summer teams.
